Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of your firm (“you” or “Customer”), and AnantaTech Hub Private Limited, which operates LegalPrime (“LegalPrime”, “we”, “us” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the LegalPrime website, applications and services (the “Services”). By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you accept these Terms for a firm, you represent that you are authorised to bind that firm. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for all activity under your accounts, and for keeping login credentials confidential. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

2. Subscriptions, trials & billing

• The Services are offered on a subscription basis under the plan you select. Plan limits (users, branches, cases, storage and features) apply as described at purchase.
• We may offer a free trial (typically 14 days). At the end of the trial your firm must subscribe to a paid plan to keep using the Services.
• Fees are billed in advance for the chosen billing cycle (monthly or yearly) and are processed securely through Razorpay. Applicable taxes (including GST) are added.
• Unless cancelled, subscriptions renew automatically for the same cycle at the then-current price. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from your billing page; changes take effect as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

3. Your data & ownership

As between you and LegalPrime, you own all content and data your firm uploads to the Services (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit Customer Data solely to provide, secure and support the Services. You are responsible for the Customer Data you handle and for having the rights and consents needed to store it in the platform. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to permit any user to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful, infringing or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other Customers’ data, or our systems, or interfere with their normal operation.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, sublicense or copy the Services except as permitted by law.
• Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory or that violates others’ rights.
• Use the Services to send unsolicited or unlawful communications.

5. Intellectual property

The Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos and trademarks (excluding Customer Data), are owned by or licensed to LegalPrime and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services during your subscription. No other rights are granted.

6. Third-party services

The Services may integrate with third-party tools (such as payment gateways, calendars, messaging and biometric devices). Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

7. Availability & support

We work to keep the Services available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, and may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Support is provided in line with your plan.

8. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Services and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or use the Services in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination, your right to use the Services ends; data export and deletion are handled per our Account Deletion Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. LegalPrime is practice-management software and does not provide legal advice; you remain responsible for your professional judgment and compliance obligations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LegalPrime and its directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold LegalPrime harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising from your Customer Data, your use of the Services, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Surat, Gujarat, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any applicable mandatory law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes, and the “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
