Refund & Cancellation Policy
Manage Your Subscription with Ease
Last updated: 16 July 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how LegalPrime, operated by AnantaTech Hub Private Limited, handles subscription cancellations and refunds. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. We want you to be confident in your subscription — so we keep cancellation simple and our refund rules clear.
1. Free trial
We offer a free trial (typically 14 days) so you can evaluate LegalPrime before paying. No payment is taken during the trial and no card is required to start it. If you choose not to subscribe, simply let the trial end — you will not be charged.
2. How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page inside the app, or by emailing contact@legalprime.app. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. Your firm keeps access to the Services until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which the subscription will not renew.
3. Refund eligibility
Subscription fees are billed in advance and are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused time, or accounts cancelled part-way through a cycle. We consider refunds on a case-by-case basis in the following situations:
- Duplicate or incorrect charge: if you were billed twice or charged in error, we will refund the erroneous amount in full.
- Verified technical failure: if a significant, sustained fault on our side prevents you from using the Services and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable time, we may offer a pro-rated refund or account credit.
- Recent first payment: if you contact us within 7 days of your first paid charge and have not made substantial use of the Services, we may, at our discretion, offer a refund.
4. What is non-refundable
- Renewal charges after the billing cycle has started.
- Add-on top-ups (extra users, storage, etc.) once activated.
- Discounted, promotional, custom or annual prepaid plans, unless stated otherwise in writing.
- Charges where the account was suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms.
5. Plan changes
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately and may be charged on a pro-rated basis for the remainder of the cycle. Downgrades take effect from your next billing cycle; we do not refund the difference for the current cycle.
6. Auto-renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current price, using your saved payment method, until you cancel. You can turn off renewal by cancelling before the renewal date.
7. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment processor (Razorpay). Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days, though the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
8. Your data after cancellation
Cancelling stops billing but does not immediately delete your data. You can export your data during your remaining access period, and afterwards it is handled per our Account Deletion Policy.
9. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email contact@legalprime.app from your registered email with your firm name and the charge details. We aim to respond within one business day and to resolve eligible requests promptly.
